Privacy Policy

Cleaner is made by Cortexlumora Private Limited and is available for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your photos, videos, contacts and files stay on your phone.

Photos, videos and contacts

With your permission, Cleaner reads your photo library and contacts to find duplicates, similar items and large files. All analysis happens on your device. We never upload, copy or sell your photos, videos or contacts, and we can't see them.

When you delete, compress or convert items, the changes are made in your own library through the operating system, which asks you to confirm deletions. On iPhone, deleted photos and videos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days; on Android, they go to your gallery's trash where your device supports it. Contact backups are saved as files on your device.

Apps and files (Android)

On Android, with your permission, Cleaner reads app usage statistics to show which apps you haven't opened recently and how much space they take, and looks for large files in your Downloads and Documents folders. This information is only used on your device and is never uploaded.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple on iPhone and by Google Play on Android. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Cleaner Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history from the store; it doesn't receive your name, email or media. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics and ads

Cleaner has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking, and doesn't use advertising IDs.

Deleting your data

Your photos, videos, contacts and files never leave your device, so there is nothing of them for us to delete. To delete the anonymous purchase records kept by RevenueCat, email cortexlumora@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we'll remove them within 30 days. Records the App Store or Google Play keep about your purchases are managed by Apple or Google.

Children

The app isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
